IT Recruitment Code of Practice
This Code of Practice has been created out of a need from IT workers who feel they are not getting the level of service they deserve from a, quate large, proportion of IT recruitment agencies.
Many bad practices have been observed that do not work in favour of the IT Professional or client, but simply serve to boost the comission rates of Recruitment Consultant.
Who has created this Code of Practice?
The intention of this Code of Practice is to be self defining from the large IT sector who feel they have a say in the way IT recruitment is run. A wiki has purposefully been used to ensure than no one body controls the contents of this code and it cannot be used or swayed in favour of a particular service or gripe. The industry, with enough support will level out the code of practice to create a suitable code that covers the whole industry.
